Note:

Some private school administrators may be willing to assist home study parents in obtaining and administering the required tests. However, state law does not require public school systems to provide testing services. If a local school system voluntarily offers a service to parents for testing students not enrolled in that school system, then the test instruments and materials used for these students should not be a part of the state testing program which is purchased with state funds. In addition, careful consideration should be given to keeping this test data separate from that of the public school system so that validity will not be compromised in any way.
